Sharni Vinson

In NSW, Australia, Sharni Vinson was raised in Sydney's southern beaches suburb of Cronulla. As a teenager she participated at a National Level in swimming, holding four State records in high school. Sharni started singing, dancing and acting at a young stage, and was the youngest generation of actors within her family. She was the daughter of a performer in the musical theater and her grandmother was Australia's youngest ballerina in 1945 to be awarded a scholarship by the Borovansky Ballet Company in England. Sharni took up a place at the Brent Street School of Performing Arts Sydney when she was 12 years old. For the next ten years, Sharni learned various forms of dance. In the year 17 following her graduation from high school, Sharni got signed to Roadshow Music Australia as a participant in the all-girl pop group "Foxfire IV" which was whose first single "Roses" climbed to the top 50 of the australian ARIA charts.
